24o Cyprus Film Days International Film Festival Με επιτυχία ολοκληρώθηκε στις 17-22 Απριλίου 2026 το 24ο Cyprus Film Days International Film Festival που συνδιοργανώνεται από το Τμήμα Σύγχρονου Πολιτισμού του Υφυπουργείου Πολιτισμού και το Θέατρο Ριάλτο της Κύπρου.  Η Authorwave και φέτος έδωσε το παρόν με το καθιερωμένο Βραβείο Authorwave – Post Production Cinema and Platform Mastering Services.  Στηρίζουμε σταθερά το Διεθνές Φεστιβάλ Κινηματογραφικών Ημερών Κύπρου κι ευχαριστούμε για την εξαιρετική συνεργασία.  Το Βραβείο Καλύτερης Σκηνοθεσίας του Διαγωνιστικού Τμήματος Κυπριακών Ταινιών, συνοδεύεται από υπηρεσίες Post-Production Cinema & Platform Mastering ονομαστικής αξίας €7.000, χορηγία της AUTHORWAVE, ανακοινώθηκε από τον Αιμίλιο Αβραάμ και απονεμήθηκε στην ταινία “HOLD ONTO ME” (102’, 2026), σε σκηνοθεσία Μυρσίνης Αριστείδου.  Το βραβείο παρέδωσε η CFO της Authorwave, Ιωάννα Σουλτάνη.

21o Cyprus Film Days International Film Festival Το 21ο Cyprus Film Days International Film Festival πραγματοποιήθηκε με επιτυχία και φέτος από 21 ως 29 Απριλίου 2023 στο Rialto Theatre – Θέατρο Ριάλτο στη Λεμεσό μ’ ένα κοινωνικά ευαισθητοποιημένο πρόγραμμα προβολών.   Η Authorwave συνεχίζει σταθερά να δίνει το παρόν με το καθιερωμένο πλέον Βραβείο Authorwave – Post Production. Στηρίζουμε το Διεθνές Φεστιβάλ Κινηματογραφικών Ημερών Κύπρου που διατηρεί αναλλοίωτη δυναμική κι ευχαριστούμε για την εξαιρετική συνεργασία.   Το Βραβείο Authorwave, που συνοδεύεται από υπηρεσίες post-production αξίας €4.000, απονεμήθηκε στο ‘Mediterranean Fever’ (108′, 2022) σε σκηνοθεσία Maha Haj, συμπαραγωγή Γερμανίας, Γαλλίας, Κύπρου, Παλαιστίνης και Κατάρ.   Η ταινία αποκαλύπτει την εσωτερική δυναμική μιας φιλίας μεταξύ δύο γειτόνων. Η γεμάτη ενσυναίσθηση ματιά στην ιστορία δύο αντρών, τους οποίους συνδέει ένας ασυνήθιστος δεσμός, σκηνοθετήθηκε με ανεπιτήδευτη απλότητα, σκιαγραφώντας ένα τοπίο με στοιχεία μαύρης κωμωδίας, δίνοντας έμφαση στην ανθρώπινη ψυχολογική κατάσταση και υπογραμμίζοντας ευρύτερα κοινωνικά διλήμματα.  Το βραβείο παρέδωσε ο CEO/Founder της Authorwave Πάνος Μπίσδας στον συμπαραγωγό της ταινίας Μάριο Πιπερίδη.

1st Masterclass at the Hellenic Cinema and Television School Stavrakos.

On Friday, November 25th, the first AUTHORWAVE Masterclass was successfully completed at the Hellenic Cinema and Television School Stavrakos.  The Masterclass was held by Panos Bisdas – CEO / Founder of AUTHORWAVE, and was an introduction to the Post Production workflow. AUTHORWAVE contributes to film education through its Masterclasses, Educational Visits of students to its Studios, and the practical training it offers. We are delighted that along with the Hellenic Cinema and Television School Stavrakos, there is a shared vision, and we thank everyone who attended!

63rd Thessaloniki International Film Festival

63rd Thessaloniki International Film Festival The 63rd Thessaloniki International Film Festival was completed on Sunday 13 November.This year’s festival was full of uniquely selected films and Masterclasses with internationally acclaimed and renowned professionals of the field. 45th Drama International Short Film Festival 2022

45th Drama International Short Film Festival 2022 The 45th Drama International Short Film Festival 2022 took place at the Municipal Conservatory with live streaming. This year’s President of the International Competition Programme jury was the multi-award winner Vasilis Kekatos. He is the first Greek director to have won a Short Film Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival, for his film “The Distance Between Us and the Sky” where Authorwave, as co-producer, had undertaken Post Production (Color Grading and Deliverables). The Drama Film Festival included the National Competition Programme, the International Competition Programme, the International and National Student Program, a Pitching Lab and a Pitching Forum, the International Animation Programme, as well as the “Short and Green” programme.  It was our great pleasure that among the films of the National Competition Programme are those whose creators collaborated with Authorwave for Post Production either at the Color Grading or the Deliverables level. Career Days

The Career Day of the Department of Foreign Languages, Translation and Interpreting of the Ionian University – Ionian University ended on Wednesday, 11/05/2022. The Authorwave team, with representatives Liza Chrysochoou -COO, and Rosa Kaloudis -Localization Manager, actively participated, intending to allow many students and graduates to learn about the market trends of language services, professional opportunities, employment, and internship. We once again had the pleasure of welcoming a new generation of professionals to the language services industry. We are committed to showing up and showing our support in every way possible.

We were honored to sponsor the 12th AVANT-GARDE FILM FESTIVAL 2022. The sponsorship’s nominal value is 10.000€. It will cover Post-Production (Color Grading and DCP mastering) services for the next film of the winner Director Kiro Russo for the movie “The Great Movement.”

Authorwave & School Stavrakos Co-operation

The future of film production in Greece is looking very promising. It is our duty to support it. This conviction is part of AUTHORWAVE’s philosophy, therefore we came up with ways to be even more active in other levels beyond our continuous investments. “The essence of the future can be found where new film and television ideas are born; with the Younger Generation. Its strengthening and support was a key element and an integral part of our vision”, says Panos Bisdas, CEO/Founder of AUTHORWAVE. “Stavrakos Hellenic Cinema and Television School firmly believes in  the dynamic of the audiovisual field and aims at continuously strengthening and utilizing the skills of new creators”, states Program Director Mrs. Gianna Lambropoulou. We are extremely happy because we share the same vision with Stavrakos School/H.C.T.S.S  – this historic School for Cinema and Television – since we believe in the necessity of cinema training in all levels. Students will have the opportunity to learn about the available technology and the potential of audiovisual mediums, as well as the past, present, and future of Post Production. – Award This year, the H.C.T.S.S AWARD powered by AUTHORWAVE will be awarded to one of the School’s students (all departments) who will receive color grading services for their film. – Company training and scholarship provided by AUTHORWAVE One or two graduates will receive company training and full-time employment after evaluation at AUTHORWAVE. The position is available for a specific time span with the option for renewal based on evaluation.   A Few Words on Stavrakos School/ HTCSS The School for Cinema and Television Lykourgos Stavrakos (est. 1950) is the first Cinema School in  Greece. It is one of the first founding members of the International Association of Cinema, Audiovisual and Media Schools (CILECT) and has voting privileges for the European Film Awards (EFA) Awards. The School’s syllabus, organization and structure are completely in tune with the modern vibe of the international audiovisual industry, aiming at the continuous expansion of the cinema training.
